Barry acquired the Sunbelt Business Brokerage franchise for Regina and southern Saskatchewan in July 2008 and opened his office January of 2009.

Prior to joining Sunbelt, Barry accumulated over 25 years of experience working with small, medium and large sized businesses in Saskatchewan. Experience which included new business start-ups, acquisitions, mergers and reorganizations as well as providing business management and advisory services covering a wide range of business issues.

Barry attended the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) graduating with an Honours Diploma in Accounting and currently holds the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation; the Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) designation with the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and his company, Johnson Management Ltd., is a registered brokerage with the Saskatchewan Real Estate Commission.

Barry is a member of CPA Canada, is the only business broker in Saskatchewan with the CBI designation, is a member of IBBA, M&A Source and is a registered broker with the Saskatchewan Real Estate Association.

Since opening his Sunbelt office in 2009, he has been putting this experience to work by helping business owners successfully sell their business to the right buyer and helping buyers acquire the right business. Barry takes a long-term view toward building relationships with business owners and buyers. It is not uncommon for him to work with business owners for two to three years to prepare the business for sale, prior to taking the business to market. He has worked with business owners and buyers to close the sale of Saskatchewan businesses ranging in value from $100,000 to +$5,000,000.
